Now Accepting Applications: Fremont Family Apartments

Fremont Family Apartments

Applications are now being accepted for the lottery waitlist for Fremont Family Apartments, a new affordable housing development located at 34320 Fremont Boulevard in Fremont. This new development is for income-eligible individuals and families and will be managed by Abode and The John Stewart Company.

At this time, applications are being accepted for 27 rental units at Fremont Family Apartments. Applications can be submitted online via the Alameda County Housing Portal. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 3, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Applications can be submitted any time before the deadline; it is not first come, first served.

Income Limits for Affordable Housing

To qualify for affordable housing in Fremont, applicants must meet certain income limit requirements.

Please refer to the table below for the income limit requirements for affordable housing based on household size. Please use the table to assist you in determining if you are income eligible for affordable housing. A downloadable PDF of the table is also available.

Percent of 2023 Area Median Income (AMI) Figures

To qualify for affordable housing, applicants cannot exceed the annual gross income listed in the table below based on their household size. For example, to qualify for a very low income unit at 50% AMI, a 2-person household cannot earn more than $59,200 a year to qualify.

30% or Less = Extremely Low Income
40% to 50% = Very Low Income
60% to 80% = Low Income
90% to 120% = Moderate Income
